-"...while a lot of people may not have heard of Citizen, Livin'Poetry or [The Understudies] outside of the Bay Area before this year, if they keep making tracks like "Goodlife", they should turn more than a few heads. The four MC's all do their thing over a beat that would describe as bouncy. It's got shades of disco, 80's new wave and electro all wrapped up into one. It's a head nodder and hand clapper...[In regards to "Hip Hop(For Real)"] what sucked me into this track right off the bat was the ill Spanish horns that Citizen hooked up. They give it that mariachi flavor, that is just something "different"..." - Wake Your Daughter Up (Vibe Magazine(RIP)'s Top 20 Hip Hop Sites)
